Board of Education Special Meeting

I. Call to Order - President Broz called the meeting to order at 6:37 P.M.

I.A. Roll Call - Present:  Connie Brott, Aaron Broz, Toby Cox, Dexter Lacey, Andrea Richards.  Absent:  Joe Anderjaska. 

I.B. Pledge of Allegiance - President Broz led the Pledge of Allegiance.

I.C. Recognition of Open Meetings Act poster - President Broz notified those in attendance of the Open Meetings Act poster.

I.D. Adoption of Agenda – Motion to adopt the agenda passed with a motion by Cox and a second by Lacey.

II. Discussion  

II.A. Review interim superintendent applications  

The special meeting was held in the distance learning classroom.  Shari Becker, Director of Education Leadership Search Service, and Marcia Herring, Director of Board Development, both with NASB, joined the meeting via live video.  Ms. Becker and Ms. Herring advised the Board regarding the steps regarding the Interim Superintendent search.  Discussion included a start date, duties, creating a contract, interview schedule, questions and dates, screening process, and interviewee qualities.

III. Executive Session – none.

IV. Adjournment - President Broz adjourned the meeting at 7:19 P.M.
